elping Honduras Kids provides, through your donations, frequent outings and events. Sometimes these events are educational, other times they are just for fun.  One of the favorite spots for the children is to visit the beach or to go swimming/tubing in the rivers or pool, or for a hike in the mountains.   The kids have so much fun attending these activities, whether they are swimming, playing on the beach, horseback riding or tubing down a river.  Some trips are as simple as a visit to the local mall for ice cream or to go out to eat at a local restaurant.

Many of these children have never eaten in a restaurant, been in an air-conditioned mall or gone for a simple ride on an escalator. For many kids, an outing to the beach is the first time they have seen the ocean even though they live right on the coast. For these children to thrive outside their local communities, they must experience “real life” and be able to learn to make good choices in the modern world.  We would love donations to help take our children on fun & educational outings.  Please click on the red Donate Now box to the right and make a tax-deductible donation to fund our educational and fun outings today!

Helping Honduras Kids is a 501 c3 organization headquartered in the USA, and as such your donations may be tax deductible. You will immediately receive a receipt by email for tax purposes. Because we do not receive government funding, we rely totally on individuals to sponsor a child for $39 per month or make donations toward specific projects. Volunteers are also needed. Sponsorship is often a rewarding experience for both sponsor and child. The needy children in our care will enjoy sharing letters, pictures, and talking by Skype, it’s all up to you and what you would like. You do not need to speak Spanish as we can provide translation assistance. Please take a moment to review the photos and profiles and give the gift of hope by sponsoring one of these beautiful children. We have additional children in need of sponsorship in our Jungle School (very poor and often malnourished children), Grandma’s kids (poor children without parents), or those who have graduated from the Jungle School and now need money and encouragement to attend and complete high school.
