Change the life of a Honduran child for just $30 a month (one $1 a day), or a family for $100 per month!

Your Helping Honduras Kids sponsorship will provide basic necessities of food, clothing, shoes, shelter, medical care, schoolbooks, school supplies and much more. While the Honduran government does not currently allow adoptions from private orphanages such as ours, we are looking for sponsors who will help support these kids. In Latin America this is called a padrino or madrina. (godfather or godmother.) Due to abuse or neglect sometimes we have siblings brought to us and it is very important to HHK that we keep these children together. You can sponsor a Honduran child or a family on a safe and secure website. It is easy to do, just click on the Donation-Net box to the right, and once the process is complete, a sponsor packet will be emailed to you.

Letters & Photos: We would love for you and your child to correspond. The children will most likely correspond in Spanish. It is ok to write back to the children and correspond in English. Our bi-lingual volunteers will read these letters to the children. A special thank you card, created by the children, will be sent out each year to sponsors. To ensure that you receive a letter, please keep you email address current with HHK.

You can email your sponsored children at the Hogar Children's Home at hhkguy@gmail.com and send letters and photos and also set up an appointment to Skype with your child at the Hogar de Amor.
