Children’s OutingsHelping Honduras Kids provides, through your donations, frequent outings and events. Sometimes these events are educational, other times they are just for fun.  One of the favorite spots for the children is to visit the beach or to go swimming/tubing in the rivers, or for a hike in the mountains.   The kids have so much fun attending these activities, whether they are swimming, playing on the beach, horseback riding or tubing down a river.  Some trips are as simple as a visit to the local mall for ice cream or to go out to eat at a local restaurant. 

Many of these children have never eaten in a restaurant, been in an air-conditioned mall or gone for a simple ride on an escalator. For many kids, an outing to the beach is the first time they have seen the ocean even though they live right on the coast.
