Many thanks to Jean H., our volunteer from Seattle who spent the month of January working at the Hogar. In addition to baking cookies with the kids every week and lots of other fun activities, Jean took on organizing and emptying Room #3 - - - the bodega. If you haven't been in this room, it's hard to appreciate the bravery of this woman but Jean managed to sort and organize many items so that they could be immediately distributed to people in need. Miracle worker that she is, she even manged to involve the kids in helping!
